Manna House
Manna House reaches out the hand of fellowship and friendship to those who are lonely, disenfranchised and homeless. It offers the opportunity for anyone who finds themselves in such a situation to enjoy friendship and a meal.
A hot meal is served at tables by volunteers who chat with people and find out if they can help in any way. A Bible study takes place for about 30 minutes each week in a private room and people are free to attend if they so wish.
Our partner organisations are Single People’s Emergency Accommodation in Richmond (SPEAR) and the Vineyard Project in Richmond. Both organisations provide meals, accommodation and support to homeless people.
We also take part in the Borough wide Sunday Lunch Scheme.
Playlounge
Meets on Saturday mornings during term time and provides a relaxed play time where children ages 6 and younger play with a variety of toys whilst parents enjoy a hot cafe drink, read a newspaper and chat.

Mums of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS)
MOPS is a unique programme for mothers and their pre-school children, open to mums of all faiths.
Each week mums listen to guest speakers & are taught new crafts, whilst children play (looked after by registered crèche & playgroup helpers). There are homemade cakes and we have a diverse range of speakers, covering many different issues including child rearing, womanhood and family relationships. Our craft time is not too challenging but generates some impressive results, no matter how unskilled you might think you are!
Feminine Focus
A ladies group that invites various guest speakers and meets on a monthly basis - usually on the first Tuesday in the month.
Dad's Night
An opportunity for Dad's to meet together socially - normally on the last Wednesday night of the month.
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry at Duke Street Church aims to encourage and equip men for the Christian life through regular breakfast meetings and occasional training courses.
The main focus of the men’s ministry is a monthly meeting where we share a cooked breakfast followed by a short talk from the Bible. Afterwards, there is opportunity for the group to discuss the issues raised. Then they tackle the washing up.
Genuine friendship, excellent food, good banter, and superb, punchy, thought provoking ministry; all in 90 minutes.
Occasional short courses, which aim to train men for various aspects of the Christian life, are also provided through this ministry. These cover various topics ranging from personal evangelism to workplace ministry.
Men's Sports Teams
A way for men at Duke Street to get to know one another and enjoy sport together. It provides an opportunity to form links with other men in the church and with other teams in the surrounding community. Anyone is welcome to join the teams, regardless of ability, or lack thereof!:
Football Team
Plays during the winter months in the Southern Area Christian Football League.
Cricket Team
Plays during the summer months. The team meets weekly for nets sessions at the start of the summer, before playing a round of friendly matches against other local sides throughout July.
