Getting Equipped for Ministry
Getting Equipped for Ministry is a new course to help individuals grow as teachers of the Bible. It will consist of 8 sessions, each lasting two hours and spread over the course of the year. We will cover three main areas:
· Covenant Theology
· Tools for Biblical Interpretation and Application
· Teaching skills
Who is it for?
It is suitable for anyone who would like to learn more about the Bible and how to teach it, whether you are currently involved in some teaching role or not. No prior knowledge is needed, only a willingness to learn and contribute. The content should help anyone whether they are (or will be) teaching our children in Beginners or PromiseLand, our young people in Motiv8 or Distinctive, or adults in any of Fellowship Groups or other Bible Studies.
How much time will it take?
We will meet 8 times in one year. To get the most out of the course it would be good to spend about 4 hours between each class on reading and ‘homework.’
If you are interested in finding out more, or would like to attend on a weeknight because you can’t make Saturday mornings, please contact
Stuart Cashman or office tel. 020 8973 2253
