GROUPS
These groups take place on Sundays but see also our Children and Students and Young People for mid-week activities.
Creche
Duke Street aim’s to support parents in instructing children to know and love the God of the Bible from the earliest age in a safe, welcoming, nurturing environment.
Beginners
For children aged 2 – 4 years, Beginners meet during both Sunday morning services. The group meets in church with their parents to start, then moves downstairs for Bible stories, crafts, songs, and prayer.
Each week the aim is to explain the Bible to the children in a clear, passionate, relevant and fun way. It is hoped that by teaching the love and knowledge of Jesus the children will enjoy coming to church on Sundays and begin to grasp hold of an infectious excitement about the Christian faith.
Promiseland is for 5-11 year olds and comprises Little Splash, Big Splash and Promiseland Plus.
Little Splash
Little Splash is for children in school years Reception and Year 1 and meets during both Sunday morning services. Each week there are Bible stories, songs, memory verses, prayer, games, time to share their news, and small group time together.
Big Splash
Big Splash is for children aged 6 to 8 years old and meets during both Sunday morning services.
Big Splash has Bible stories, songs, memory verses, prayer, games, time to share news, and small group time together. On various weekends throughout term-time we also meet for socials.
Promiseland Plus
Promiseland Plus is for children from ages 8 to 10 years old.
PromiseLand Plus has songs, memory verses, prayer, games and small group time. Once a year we enjoy an absolutely unmissable weekend together.

Motiv8
Motiv8 provides a space on Sunday mornings for young people aged 11 to 14 to meet during both morning services.
Motiv8 exists to provide a space for young people to meet together and to learn how awesome God is through studying the Bible together. It is an opportunity for young people to make new friends and to build on existing friendships. There is a lot of fun and games, and an opportunity to pray for each other.

There are a variety of socials throughtout the term, and every year the group go on a weekend away together.

Distinctive
Distinctive is a group for young people aged between 14 to 18 and meets during the second morning service.
The aim of Distinctive is to provide space for young people to meet together and grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by having the Bible clearly taught, and offers a chance to explore the relevance of the Gospel in our lives. It is an opportunity for young people to make and develop friendships with each other, to have lots of fun together, and to support each other in prayer.
"Distinctive has really helped me in my walk with Jesus and I’ve made loads of friends there. The Bible is really well explained and it’s relevance to our lives is emphasised greatly. I am really excited about the youth group on Friday and hope that more people who don’t usually go to church will hear about God’s grace and mercy."

Distinctive is a great chance to meet with other Christians of the same age, read the Bible, pray, chat and play plenty of mad games!
Adult Bible Study
Meets fornightly during the 9:30am to study God's word.
